Testimonials

Bob Young is a “go to” photographer and has worked on a wide variety of projects for us.  He is flexible and understands the short timelines residential developers have to turn around creative for their projects; and delivers.  Whether lifestyle, interiors or architectural exteriors, Bob gets what we need and makes every effort to surpass our expectations.

Bob Young has done an exceptional job of providing us with photos for our website and marketing materials.  Bob spends a great deal of time and effort making sure to get the best possible shot. With the added difficulty of providing us with the right lighting for exterior shots, Bob takes the time to arrive at a site on the day/night as needed. We highly recommend you to anyone requiring a professional photographer who will go the extra mile

The role of photography in destination marketing for the tourism industry has evolved over the past few years from purely spectacular scenic images to showing people enjoying the multitude of experiences available to residents and visitors. Bob Young has amazed us in capturing the correct emphasis in each image, from a unique and personal perspective.

I’ve used Bob as my main photographer for over 20 years. Apart from his unflagging energy and commitment to the job in hand, his main expertise is in his choice of lighting and composition.  Many of my clients are from the world of industry and the processes they carry out, whilst of a high-tech nature are often performed within a working environment that is anything but. Bob’s expertise is to capture the process in a visually stimulating manner avoiding the clutter of the non essential background. Beautiful lighting, creative composition and artistic talent. That is the essence of Bob Young’s work.

I have worked with Bob on several photo shoots for our company’s design/build projects including schools, offices, and public spaces, and Bob has  been extremely professional, efficient, and courteous.  His willingness to accommodate our vision, and offer helpful advice based on his knowledge and experience, makes for a very productive and enjoyable working relationship. It is always a pleasure to work with Bob.

In my capacity as Marketing Director of Sign 2000, I have used the services of Bob Young as a commercial photographer to capture images of our sign products for over 6 years.

We have tasked Bob with photographing signs that have been installed at various locations around UK and the rest of Europe. The locations involved have varied in nature from sites such as a hospital in central London to a toy factory in the south of France. I have no doubt that the locations of some of the signs have made them challenging subjects to capture.

Bob has never failed to achieve the brief we have set out both in terms of deadline and quality of the finished product, indeed he has often exceeded our best expectations.

Bob has always proved to be reliable, conscientious and creative in his work for us.

I would have no hesitation in vouching for both the character of Bob as an individual or for the quality his workmanship that we have always found to be first class.
